This program allows you to decrypt DVDs. It removes the Contents Scramble System copy protection. Mostly DVD movies first need decryption before being copied; disc to disc copiers won't copy DVD movies if they have not been already decrypted.

The compatible programs are: 1Click DVD Copy, Nero, Intervideo DVD Copy, Roxio, and Pinnacle DVD Copy. System requirements: Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, and Vista. Instructions: Download and install the program (It is recommended to close all other applications before installing it). You can add a desktop icon and create a quick launch icon too. After installing the software you will have to restart the computer. Once restarting it, DVD43 will run in invisibly mode but you can check the try icon for the status of the DVD: Yellow color indicates that DVD43 is ready to decrypt but there is no video DVD detected, red (devil) indicates that it is searching for encryption keys, gray indicates that DVD reader was not found or the driver has not been properly installed, green indicates that the video DVD has been detected and ready to copy. If the region of the drive does not match it will take more time to decrypt the DVD.

Pros

  • You can unlock DVD movies

Cons

  • It doesn't work with Microsoft Vista 64 bit edition. Some copier programs won't recognize this decrypter

DVD43 is an excellent piece of software! Will there ever be a 64-bit version? The 32-bit limitation makes it obsolete!! I seriously doubt that there will ever be another 32 bit OS.

Works okay but can get in the way of other decrypter programs. Do not let it autoload. When you need it, open it and use it.
